Canada Day Celebrations!

Looking for somewhere fun to take the kids this Canada Day? look no further! we go here every year and it never disappoints. Food by donation and .50 tickets for the attractions your kids will be thrilled!

CRAFTY WEEK

This past week we were busy- here are the highlights! Spring is in the air, I can feel it. 

We painted rocks- always a favorite!

Space Available March 1

Daisy Daycare is expanding! on my way to getting licensed- in the meantime I have a space available for a part time 2-4 days/week or a full 5 days/week. Spread the word! 

Spring is coming, I can FEEL it. It's going to be great.

New Year- Fresh Start

 For some- the new year represents new beginnings, or a fresh start. For me, it represents a time to organize, plan and prepare for the spring! 

With Winter just beginning- most don't think of the spring.  But I sure do! sewing projects, playdough making, painting, and gardening begin in February. I look forward to that.

Christmas Traditions

Anything you pass on to your kids, or from you grandparents can be a Christmas tradition. In our house we have a tradition of getting a real Christmas tree. We also pick up some new glass ornaments at the end of each season to add to our growing collection. 

We have our family dinner on Christmas day, and appetizers around a roaring fire and hot chocolate on Christmas eve.The kids open one gift and typically it's pajamas or a robe. 


What are some traditions you hope to pass on? 

Remember, kids are simple and they really don't need much! a hot chocolate, tree and a letter santa is a good place to start- try not to stress out this holiday season.

November Nonsense

The cold is creeping up on us! remember to bundle the kiddos before they come to daycare! 

This is a good time to sit down and make a Christmas list with your kids (for Santa Clause, or grandparents) make a hot chocolate and ask them, you might be surprised at what they say! MY favorite thing to do it to write down EXACTLY what they say on a paper and scrapbook it. You can't go wrong and it'll always make you giggle.
